Maternity Leave

Hello friends! I know it’s been a while since I have put up a blog. Things have been wonderfully crazy with beautiful weddings, and fun client shoots and growing baby Benjamin on top of all of that. But I just wanted to pop in kind of let you all know how things are going with me and Baby Benjamin and fill you in on how maternity leave is going to be looking.

I have been getting to look at some cute ultrasounds of Benjamin at the doctor’s office. The nurse says he doesn’t have any hair at this point. We’re waiting to see if he is going to make it to his due date or if he’s gonna come early like his sister.

With that in mind, I am really starting to prepare for my maternity leave. I know that I have had to sadly pass up on some great sessions but don’t worry I will be ready to start booking sessions again towards the end of August. My studio helper will still be answering emails every now and again during maternity leave, so feel free to continue booking for when I come back. I still have some open weekends for weddings and don’t forget Fall pictures and Santa pictures will be here before you know it!

We recently got maternity pictures done by Amber Coker and Anna is getting very excited. She has recently started saying that Benjamin is her baby boy and not mommy’s. We are trying to help her understand that she is going to have to share mommy and daddy soon. We’ll see how it goes! Y’all say a prayer for me as Benjamin gets closer to arriving. We are praying for a swift delivery, a healthy baby and mommy, nice nurses, and quick recovery. I do have a little anxiety just because Anna’s delivery was a little rocky at times. But I know at the end of the day that God’s got this and he will be with me through it all. Thank you for being so supportive  and respecting the privacy of me and my family during this special time as we go from a family of three to a family of four!
