Kyle and Lauren Smith Wedding

This post is a bit of a photo overload, but I promise it is so worth it! I was honored to be able to photograph so many special moments in Lauren and Kyle’s life leading up to their wedding. It ended with a weekend of fun including a bridal luncheon, the rehearsal dinner, and then the wonderful wedding. As a photographer I sometimes only get to photograph the wedding of a couple and while I enjoy it, I don’t get to really get to know the couple as well as when I get to photograph them in different settings. This particular couple trusted me through so many great moments and they will have photographs to cherish for years to come as they look back on a wonderful year. By the time I was able to photograph Lauren and Kyle’s wedding I felt like I was photographing family. I love the relationships that photography creates. Some couples I even get to follow through after the wedding and photograph them as they become a family. My job is more than just showing up. The relationships I develop with each client mean so much to me. Lauren and Kyle’s wedding was so much fun. It was very family oriented and they were surrounded by friends, basically a big celebration with a laid-back feel. I loved working with Lauren because she was definitely all about including personal touches, like her engagement pictures taken on her grandparent’s farm and around downtown Lake City where she lives. And her bridal portraits being shot in the front yard of her parent’s house where she grew up.  The wedding stayed true to that personal feel and was basically a party for the whole town. It was so much fun and you could tell that this couple is loved by so many!  Take a walk through the beautiful moments that built up to the big day!
