Ervin Family

“We take photos as a return ticket to a moment otherwise gone.”

This family session was all about preserving memories. This was the last time that this family would be getting pictures taken at the house they all grew up in. The place was getting too big for the mom to take care of, but the family wanted to capture some of the memories they all shared in photographs. I was so proud to be a part of creating something that would become part of their family heritage. Although I’m sure this session was bittersweet, the family was full of love, joy, and laughter. They loved photo bombing each other and joking around with each other. It was also sweet because one of the brothers has been stationed in Japan for quite some time, so it was the first time that the family had gotten pictures together since they were teenagers. These images truly capture the love this family has for one another and I hope that legacy of love passes on from generation to generation.
