I love this time of year when the weather starts cooling off and the leaves are changing colors and you can just feel change in the air. When these two walked into my studio almost a year ago and told me about their wedding I was like “Yes! Of course I’ll do this”. They wanted it to be different, and they wanted it to symbolize them not just in the typical run-of-the-mill wedding way. And they blew it out of the park. This wedding was so fitting for this time of year and for these two. One thing I have learned about weddings is none of them are ever the same. They are all different and unique in their own way. And this one will be one I will remember. For example, who doesn’t love a good taco? That was the food that was shared at this wedding; how cool is that. The kid’ table had golden small figurines that the kids could play and have fun with. I loved that they wrote their own vows. I always love when my couples recite their own vows because you get to see different little truths about them come out. And a funny surprise that night was at the venue. There were hundreds of tiny little baby frogs. When I first started walking over to the ceremony area I thought it was crickets and then I got a little closer and it was baby frogs! The wedding cake was cheese cake which I was super excited about because I love a good piece of cheesecake. In fact I liked it so much I asked the girl that made their cheesecake to make a cheesecake for Benjamin’s dedication. Family members and friends came together and helped decorate the place, made the taco bar, and made it all happen for this sweet couple. This was basically a great big party for their family and friends to celebrate with them in their love for each other. Thank you guys for letting me photograph your wedding! I had a blast and won’t soon forget it!
