Jasmine and William Book Wedding

This may be one of the most unique weddings I have shot thus far. The bride, Jasmine, actually saw my work in a magazine several years before her actual wedding took place and booked me for her wedding. I think she takes the award for being on the books longer than anyone and I have ever had. But boy was this one for the books. Literally, because that is William and Jasmine’s new last name and figuratively because it was held in a brewery in downtown Charlotte. If that doesn’t set the mood for a fun day I don’t know what does. It was a great change of scenery from my typical wedding. Y’all know I love my classic southern weddings, but it stretched me to shoot in a cityscape. There aren’t tree lined driveways and white porches in downtown cities. We had to balance traffic and skyscrapers and pedestrians alongside the pictures. Jasmine was a stunning bride and William was an adventurous groom. You could tell their family and friends were having a blast the whole time. I’m so glad they trusted me for so long and I was honored to shoot their cool and chic downtown wedding!
