I love meeting new couples through other couples I’ve photographed. So when people recommend me it really means the world to me. Meeting Kristen and Johnny actually started back in 2019 at the first wedding of the year; the Land wedding. Charles Land is good friends with my husband Casey. Charles and Katherine Land had a very small, intimate wedding that I had the privilege of photographing and it is up on the blog if want to look back to the beginning of 2019. It was a very sweet wedding and since it was so small I really got to know all of the people there including the James’. Do you know how you meet people and you immediately feel like a part of their family? That’s how you feel when you’re around the James’. They called me a few months after the Land’s wedding and asked me if I would be interested in photographing their wedding. I went out and did some engagement pictures on some family land where they lived. It was so beautiful and I rarely add in engagement pictures to the blog, but I’m going to start including them because engagement pictures are always great and who doesn’t want to look at more beautiful pictures. I love photographing sessions on properties that are special to the couple because the memories just become that much more cherished. Kristen and Johnny’s story is very sweet. Kristen’s daddy owns a John Deere store and Johnny came in there to buy some things and really liked Kristen, so he kept coming back to buy stuff to catch her attention. There is definitely a bush hog that is involved and was bought mostly for the fact of wanting to get to see Kristen. This was a beautiful wedding filled with family members who loved them and wanted to see them together and happy. Thank you for letting me be a part of your story Kristen and Johnny. I loved shooting your wedding and getting to do some night time pictures! You are both great and I’ll always think of you when I see anything John Deere related!
