Tracey and Bradley Mincey Wedding

This was a wedding for the books right here! This was a super special one for me because I have known this bride for almost seven years! I started out taking her family Christmas picture every year. And by family it started with her fur babies and her first husband Tom. Tracey always has such creative ideas and is just fun to be around. Two years ago Tom passed away suddenly and that left a big hole in Tracey‘s heart. I remember the first Christmas that Tracey had her pictures taken after Tom had passed and that we didn’t even know if we were going to do them and then Tracy was like no we’re going to keep on keeping on and we did. Tracey was just so faithful in her belief that God was going to bring her someone else, and that God was going to bring good from her situation and boy did He! I remember the moment that Tracey mentioned Bradley to me and how she felt it was so right, and how she felt like this was the one. I remember the call when Tracey told me that Bradley had given her the ring and I couldn’t wait to hear the story! And from then on the family Christmas pictures continued, not replacing the past but continuing with a new chapter, a new promise, and a new future. God made things new again for Tracey and he healed her of anger and doubts she had. I was able to capture a story of God’s faithfulness in this girl’s life and I am so happy for her and Bradley. They fit together in a such a sweet way. Now, back to that creative and fun girl I know and love! This wedding had her and his personal touches all over it! Tracey wore a beautiful green dress because that is Bradley‘s favorite color and she wanted to do something untraditional and fun. Her wedding followed suit with sentiment and humor and class and fun! They really thought through so many details like incorporating their guests in helping them with planting a tree, and having her dad and Wilbur, her pug baby, walking her down the aisle, and her cowgirl boots under her beautiful dress, and having pie instead of the traditional wedding cake. Everywhere you looked you saw details that had been well thought out and meant something to the bride and groom. Bradley, I want to tell you, welcome to the family! I am so thankful that God answered Tracey and Bradley’s prayers for each other. I can’t wait to photograph your future lives together! Thank you for letting me be a part of your wonderful story!
