Keely and John Curtis Lewis Wedding

Keely and John Curtis have been a unique couple for me to photograph because I have truly been with them, it feels like, since the beginning. It all started when John Curtis asked me to photograph his surprise engagement to Keely. I was then building a friendship with Keely as we were both going to the gym everyday and she was helping me to workout and think healthier about myself. Their families are so kind and were so supportive on their wedding day. John Curtis’ love for Keely is so special and he thinks about the little things. For example, at the surprise proposal he actually carved out the box that the ring was in from a piece of wood that he found at the place where Keely grew up. Their wedding was full of sweet surprises too; like when John Curtis sang a special song just for Keely. And even when things didn’t go quite as planned, like when we went to do the sparklers the bottom fell out, they still had a great time and a beautiful wedding. Special moments started and ended the wedding day as they left in a beautiful red vintage truck that belonged to Keely’s granddaddy. It has been a wonderful journey with you guys as your photographer and I wish you the happiest marriage.
